Mark 20H conversion that we believe was assembled by the Mercury factory or one of their distrubtors.  This engine is a time machine.  The conversion mid section is painted cloud white and the original parts from the base engine are painted 20H gold.  The engine still has its lead seal and all three of the factory conversion kits along with the 1956 deep skeg gear case.  The original white hose are on the engine but should not be used if running the engine.  Serial number is 790050 a very late production engine, the date 1956 is stamped twice on the serial tag. There is documentation suggesting the factory would build complete conversion engines.  The year probably was stamped on the tag for liability purposes since these engines were assembled in the early 1960's and the base engine was built in the mid 1950's and Mercury did not want purchasers claiming they did not get an engine built in 1960.  There is one broken bolt that holds the exhaust manifold to the mid section. There is a nice stainless steel prop that comes with the engine.  Part of the carb kit was to convert the original pressure fuel tank to a suction tank and this engine has it's original fuel tank with the conversion done to it just as the factory instructions indicated it should be done.  Shipping cost will be added to the price as well as the cost to construct a proper shipping crate.  The engine could also be picked up at our Florida location.
